Santa Rosa Basque Club will be hosting it's 2nd Annual Summer Basque Festival, and we hope you can make it! It is sure to be a great time!
Friday, we will have a no host dinner at the beautiful
Stonehouse Country Inn Bed & Breakfast. Please RSVP to this dinner by emailing
srbc.paradise@gmail.com or by calling 775.578.3533 no later than May 25.
Saturday, we will kick off the festivities with a Catholic Mass at St. Alfonsus Church in Paradise. We will then continue the day in the Paradise Valley Fireman's Park with food, drink, games for all ages, a cooking class, and optional tours throughout the day of some of the town's historic buildings. This year we will also be showcasing local Basque families and their impact on the area. We hope you find it as fascinating as we all do - we are so proud of what this town has to offer and the role the Basques have had in creating this success.
The evening will continue with a dance featuring Boise's
Amuma Says No at the Paradise Valley Community Hall. There will be more food and drink and lots of dancing!
We will conclude the weekend with a breakfast at the Community Hall to say our goodbyes until next time!
We hope you are able to join us and celebrate Paradise Valley and Santa Rosa Basque Club's unique Basque Culture!
